Become a Member of CSONA
CSONA is a national coalition of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) working together to advance nutrition in Malawi. With over 200 members across all 28 districts, we bring together NGOs, CBOs, FBOs, research institutions, media houses, and individual advocates committed to ending malnutrition and strengthening Malawi’s food systems.
Joining CSONA means becoming part of a coordinated, influential, and action-driven movement dedicated to improving nutrition outcomes for all Malawians.

Who Can Become a Member?
Membership is open to any CSO or individual advocate committed to nutrition-sensitive or nutrition-specific interventions. This includes:
International NGOs working in Malawi
Local NGOs
Community-Based Organizations (CBOs)
Faith-Based Organizations (FBOs)
Individual members active in nutrition advocacy
Organizations implementing nutrition-specific interventions (address immediate causes of malnutrition)
Organizations implementing nutrition-sensitive interventions (address underlying determinants such as agriculture, WASH, education, gender, and social protection)
Membership Principles
Membership is institutional, not individual (except for the Individual Member category).
All members must submit a Letter of Acceptance and Commitment.
Full membership is granted upon payment of annual membership fees as approved by the AGM.
Membership Fee Categories

Registered members who have not paid the membership fee are considered Associate Members.
